Class
Groups and Student Welfare
St.
Colman’s Community College prides itself in its aim
to achieve the highest possible standard for each
student but, at the same time, never loses sight of
the need to look after the personal welfare of students.
The
highest standards of discipline are maintained at
all times and our highly committed staff are mindful
of the need to take a personal interest in the welfare
of their students.
Each
class group is assigned a Class Teacher who endeavours
to get to know the girls and boys in their class and
to take a special interest in the group. To this end
each class is assigned one period of pastoral care
each week with their Class Teacher.
The
Year Head works in close contact with the Class Teacher
for each year group and takes responsibility for disciplinary
matters, attendance and performance. |
